Dulse is rich in protein and boasts the highest content of iron of any food source which may make it a nutritional snack for women or those who are anemic. Contains all essential amino acids. Dulse seaweed is an excellent source of:

Saccharina Kelp (Kombu) contains potassium, magnesium, iron, sodium, chromium, protein, phosphorus, alginate, carotene, vitamins A, C, E, K, and the B complex vitamins.
Of all Maine sea vegetables, Laver Wild Atlantic Nori is the highest in B complex vitamins, C, E and vegetable protein. Nori is also rich in calcium, iodine, iron, phosphorus, potassium, maganese, copper, zinc, and vitamins A and K. Large amounts of this seaweed can be enjoyed.
Alaria (Wakame) has one of the highest sources of calcium. It is rich in B complex vitamins, vitamins A, C, and K.
